Tenure: Purely contractual for 6 months (extendable as per DHR MRU approval/competent authority).
Essential Qualifications – Research Scientist-II (C)
- Ph.D. in Pathology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Genetics/Life Sciences with 5 years R&D experience in Pathology/Genomics/biomedical subjects; OR
- First class Master’s in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or equivalent with 8 years R&D experience in Genomics/biomedical subjects.
Note: Ph.D. is treated as 3 years experience. - Thorough knowledge of medical statistics, computer applications/data management, data analysis and interpretation.
Desirable
- Experience in molecular biology techniques, immunohistochemistry, tumor pathology (histopathology/cytopathology).
- ≥ 3 accepted publications in indexed scientific journals.
- Supervised/investigated projects as PI/Co-PI/Co‑I.
Essential Qualifications – Lab Technician
- 12th (Science) and two‑year Diploma in MLT/PMW/Radiology/Radiography/related; or
- One‑year DMLT + one‑year required experience; or
- Two years’ field/laboratory/animal housekeeping experience in Govt. recognized organization.
- B.Sc. degree will be treated as 3 years’ experience.
- Preference to candidates with human‑related research experience.

Selection Process
- Screening as per eligibility. List of shortlisted candidates to be displayed on the website.
- Written examination and interview: Offline at AIIMS Kalyani (No TA/DA).
- Bring 2 photocopies of the application and all original documents for verification.
- Final selection subject to approval of the Executive Director, AIIMS Kalyani. Result to be published on website and informed to selected candidates via email.

- Purely contract (6 months), no right to regular appointment/absorption; full‑time, private practice prohibited.
- Contract may be terminated by either side with 30 days’ notice or salary in lieu.
- Leave as per DHR MRU policy; no hostel/accommodation; only consolidated emoluments admissible.
